Meet your SLP

Hi, I’m Natalie Amorim

A licensed speech-language pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP) who believes every child deserves to be understood — exactly as they are.

My approach is play-based and child-led, so children learn to communicate authentically in a setting that feels safe and fun. I build on each child’s natural strengths rather than focusing on what’s “missing,” and I partner closely with families every step of the way.

A specialty that sets us apart

Support for gestalt language processors

Some children learn language in chunks — repeating phrases from shows, songs, or people they love. This is called gestalt language processing, and it’s often described as echolalia. It is a valid, natural path to language.

I’m certified in the Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) Protocol, a framework designed specifically to support gestalt language processors as they grow toward flexible, self-generated language.
